Within three days you can explore lots of attractions in Salzburg! In the following are some advices for 3 perfect days in the city of Mozart.
Because your already nearby, you should visit the legendary Felsenreitschule. Let the day come to an end with a guided tour in the festival halls.
You can end the first day at the Stieglkeller, with a panoramic and breathtaking view over Salzburg!
Start the second day with a walk in the nearby municipality Anif. Take some time for yourself, relax, unwind and enjoy a lot of green.
Afterwards you can visit the University Square (Universitätsplatz), where the weekly market takes place.
When you go for a walk through the streets of Salzburg, you will pass the Salzburger Dom (cathedral of Salzburg). It's a baroquean cathedral with a hight of 81m. On the corner there is the DomQuartier Salzburg, which offers an insight into the baroque past of Salzburg.
You should also experience the New Residenz and the Salzburger Glockenspiel.
Also interesting is the panorama museum, it is open daily and there you can have a look at Johann Michael Sattler's cyclorama of Salzburg.
On the third day attend the Stiegl-Brauwelt (Stiegl Brewery). There you will learn something about the culutre and the traditional way of brewing. Beside that, you can try different type of beers.
The Residence Gallery is also worth to visit, when you are interested in austrian and european painting.
